- The Board
Don’t let the visual complexity of the board fool you, the game is very simple! Three dice cubes are tossed in a small cage by the dealer, and punters bet on the outcome of the throw. Based on probability, each bet yields a different payout, and as with Roulette, you can place as many bets as you’d like.
- The different types of bets
- Total: This is the easiest bet on the board and involves wagering on the sum total of the dice added together – this can range from 4 to 17 with 3 and 18 being covered by triple 1 and triple 6. The payouts on each bet differs and is usually clearly marked on the betting squares.
- Small and Big: This bet is on the sum total of the three dice being Small (4 to 10) or Big (11 – 17). As it is an even chance bet, the payout ratio is 1:1. Note that if any triple appears both Small and Big bets lose.
- Combination: This is a bet on any two specific numbers appearing after the throw, and the payout is 6:1.
- Single: Betting on a single number appearing on any of the dice will pay 1:1. Should the same number appear twice, the payout is 2:1, and if it appears three times the payout is 12:1.
- Double: This bet is on a specific number dice appearing twice. You can bet on any specific double from 1 to 6, and the payout is 10:1.
- Triple: This bet is on all three dice cubes reflecting a specific number. You can bet on any triple from 1 to 6 – as specific or un-specific numbers (this option is not available on double bets). Payouts on non-specified triples are 30:1, and on specific triples the payout is 180:1.
- Odd: Win on any odd total. 3 of a kind loses.
- Even: Win on any even total, except for 3 of a kind.
