Astro Legends: Lyra & Erion is a funky, futuristic 3D slot set in outer space, with a unique layout of 9 reels in a hexagonal shape. The engaging storyline takes players on an intergalactic journey to the planet Oratorio where our heroine, Lyra, must save her world from the evil alien, Erion by way of an instrumental 80’s synth-rock battle. Boosting features include multipliers from 2x to 5x, sticky re-spin clusters, and a Lyra pick’em bonus. Astro Legends is a cluster-style online slot, which means winning combinations are formed by landing 5 or more symbols in a group, as opposed to landing 3 or more symbols on the same payline with a traditional slot. This means you can land up to 22-of-a-kind winning combinations, with the most lucrative combination paying out 1000x your total stake.
There are 6 symbols ranging in value from high to low. The crystal symbols (garnet, peridot and amethyst) represent the higher values and the Q, K and A playing cards making up the lower end.
The wild symbol only shows up on the three locations edged in pink on the reels, and when it helps to form awinning combo it will attach a multiplier of up to 5x.
The re-spins feature is triggered at random during the base game. Winning symbols stick to the reels as the reels spin again, and as long as you hit a winning spin, the reels will keep on spinning.
The Stardust Bubble will overlay a position on the reels at random during the base game. It will reveal points from 2 to 10, and when Lyra pops up, the points are collected in a separate meter. Once you have collected 100 points, it will activate the Lyra Spirit Bonus round.
In this feature, Lyra turns into a wolf and you must choose one of 3 paths for her to run across. Each path consists of 7 levels which she must complete (while Erion does all sorts of evil things to try and stop her) and collect gems along the way. The more gems you collect, the bigger are the prizes, and a 20x bonus is applied to your win if you make it through all 7 levels with at least one life intact.
We love the uniqueness of Astro Legends. It plays like an arcade game with cool and interesting features that deliver some pretty impressive wins thanks to its unusual design. The key to winning in this game is to get many sticky re-spins clusters with wild multipliers, but the hero feature is definitely the Lyra Spirit Pick ‘Em Bonus which has to be seen to be believed!
