Feature Reel

The Feature Reel comes with a Feature Frame which is the Helm symbol. On each spin during the base game, the frame spins around and stops randomly on the reels. If any winning combinations run through the frame you will activate the Feature Reel packed with the following bonus awards:

Pick Bonus

In addition to the abovementioned, you also have a chance of activating the pick bonus feature with the feature reel. When this is triggered, the reels disappear and are replaced by 15 palm tree adorned islands and a progression map. The game allocates you 5 picks and you will use them to select islands to reveal either multiplier prizes up to 5x your bet, or a chance to pick again. The progression map has a total of 15 spaces and if you manage to get enough picks and reach the treasure, you will be rewarded with 1000x your stake.  Running out of picks or winning the final prize will return you to the base game. 

Treasure Skyland slot isn’t the usual Microgaming offering. Their normally super-slick graphics seem to have been downgraded a bit in favour of more complex game mechanics.  This is not necessarily a major drawback, as there is quite a bit packed into this slot for you to explore. The feature reel contains a plethora of prizes and upgrades to enrich your gameplay experience and your pocket. The pick bonus mode is a standout feature and incorporates the treasure-hunting theme to great effect. We do miss the free spins, but as mentioned there is enough to keep you entertained. The hit frequency is not too bad at 24,4%, at least you won’t run out of bankroll before triggering a bonus round. All in all, this slot aims to provide a well-balanced gameplay experience, but its low winning potential skews it slightly.
