Canada’s leading e-sports establishment, Luminosity has partnered with Big Digital to set up a successful interactive gaming project at the recently held Bud Light Dreams Festival from June 29 to June 30.
The innovative and artistic spirit of the Bud Light Dreams Festival was a perfect platform for Luminosity to take the visitors on a mobile tour of its interactive touchscreen game and allow them to experience firsthand what it was all about.
Steve Maida, president and founder of Luminosity publicized the nature of the alliance, explaining “the junction where fans meet both, the world of music and gaming”. Maida said the response was more than expected, when it was revealed that the objective of Luminosity was to bring together the two realms. Both the companies are busy creating programs and products to enable brand associates to stretch out and hook up with the targeted audience of Luminosity.
The initial intention, according to the co-founder of Big Digital, was to bring to the fore e-sports culture to a wider community. And offering LED screens, a digi-tech personalized and accommodating platform, interaction between users through WiFi connections and Luminosity gaming content seemed the precise way to do it.
Founded by Steve Maida in 2015, Luminosity Gaming is a Toronto based Canadian e-sports entity. The teams of Luminosity participate in a variety of multiplayer online games viz. Call of Duty, Counter Strike: Global Offensive and World of Warcraft.
April 2019 saw Grammy-nominated Tory Lanez become the global ambassador of the franchise and also one its owners.
Luminosity won the Call of Duty World League Championship earlier this year and it also saw the company sign on nine new players for the forthcoming Fortnite World Cup Finals to be held in New York from 26 – 28 July. Just recently Luminosity’s Vancouver Titans came romping home with the Stage 1 Overwatch League Champions title, clinging to their unbroken winning streak in almost a year.
Luminosity has expanded over the years, forming business associations with Twitch, Universal Music Canada, Meta Threads and Scufgaming. It was announced in May this year that Luminosity was on the brink of collaborating with a digital media company called Enthusiast Gaming, which was launched in the year 2014.
Big Digital is a private enterprise providing interactive digital solutions, for the last twenty years to markets all over North America. The range of services the company offers comprises technology rentals such as video walls, interactive displays, unattended kiosks, etc.
