Canada Gets Its First Ever ESports Stadium
It is confirmed that Canada is all set to get its first ever eSports stadium. A tentative opening date is out and professional video gaming fans will cherish the inauguration that will take place on April 26th.
The rumors and speculations about the facility were doing the rounds for the last few months. The stadium is going to be inaugurated-putting end to such speculations. However, this is going to be an interim venue- as per the updates. A permanent eSports arena is under development. Myesports Ventures Limited, a leader in gaming and entertainment is the owner of this much touted pro-gaming arena. This will change Canada’s professional video gaming scene.
CEO Dan Cybak is upbeat about the development. He said the last few months had been rather crazy. According to Cybak, the employees have been running some trial competition events to get well versed with the process. They want to ensure the operations run as smoothly as possible once the facility is inaugurated.
These trial events were run making use of the real games that will be made available for playing at the venue. These games include League of Legends, Fortnite etc. They are very popular in professional video gaming community.
The temporary arena will let the company execute a feasibility study. The support pouring in from the community as well as the country will be assessed. Since Canada has plenty of avid gamers, lack of support will not be an issue. The Gaming Stadium will have a space of 20,000 square feet, which will accommodate about 250 spectators.
