Mr Green acquired online casino Garbo three years back. But it chose to hold back the casino and re-launched only in 2017. The wait was for a suitable technology platform. This new platform was made available in 2016 and Garbo re-launch plans were revised consequently. Mr Green is now all set to re-launch Garbo first in Sweden and then come up with a revamped online gaming site, aimed at mobile gamblers.
Per Norman, the Mr Green & Go CEO, said at the launch event, Garbo has the elements in it to emerge as a strong brand, much like Mr Green. This introduction is going to be cost-efficient. The company can gain from the competence, digital expertise and PR of Mr Green. The first edition of Garbo is meant for mobile users who have played on the Mr Green technology platform.
Garbo re-launch was a planned event, led by Oskar Mühlbach. He joined Mr Green in 2016 and since then has worked on the re-launch with a team comprising of 4 members. After Sweden, Garbo will be gradually introduced in other markets.
Mr. Mühlbach expressed his pleasure about Garbo relaunch. He added Garbo will cater to the playing needs of mobile casino players. He feels despite the fact that Sweden is replete with mobile gaming sites, Garbo will make its presence felt.
