Play’n Go recently purchased Proactive Gaming Scandinavia AB, and officially announced confirmation of the transaction on its website.
The acquisition makes for a perfect fit as Play’n Go is a leading provider of online casino slots and progressives, while Proactive Gaming is a supplier of top quality content and gaming experiences.
According to CEO, Johan Törnqvis, the main focus of the purchase for Play’n Go is that it allows them to significantly expand its global reach, as Proactive Gaming provides access to additional markets.
But the transaction carries a great benefit for Proactive Gaming as well, in that it enables them to focus on content delivery and continue growing new product development.
Symbiotic activity between developers and suppliers have become growing a trend over recent years, so the merger of Proactive Gaming into Play’n Go is hardly surprising, and we could very well see more similar acquisitions by other leading industry players in the future.
