Evolution Gaming is all set to build an all new live studio Casino in Canada, which will be its very first one outside Europe, with an aim to expand its market
Evolution Gaming has announced that it will be building a new studio in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia. An agreement too will be signed that outlines that it will provide live dealer games and other services of the same category to the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC).
A five-year supply-deal has been signed by the company with the provincial lottery operator. The streaming of games will be done through BCLC's iGaming site, PlayNow.com.
Monica Bohm, BCLC vice president of iGaming stated that they were delighted to have entered into an agreement with Evolution. And, hope to take the thrill of live and interactive casino gambling entertainment to a new level. She also added that innovations in products like live casino will assist BCLC to deliver the very best in gambling entertainment to its players, while also greatly benefiting the many communities in British Columbia.
Martin Carlesund, Evolution chief stated that the agreement was a huge breakthrough for the company. He also said that the latest deal consolidated the position of Evolution as a leader in the global market of B2B casino. The delivery would also highlight their ability to cater the market requirements with suitable solutions.
The venue, 16,000 square feet in area, is likely to be completed and operational by the end of 2017. It will initially feature ten tables for baccarat, blackjack and roulette.
The studio will assist in the development of the customer base of the company in Canada. It is expected that there will be new clients for provincial lottery, offering dedicated and shared tables. According to the supplier, the studio can create over 170 fresh jobs in Vancouver alone. The operational staff will be recruited from nearby local areas.
