Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa wants 1,200 New Employees

The Tampa Property of Hard Rock Casino is near complete and the expansion has cost approx $700 million. It now needs 1,200 staffers to be appointed in the newly created positions. This is for both part and full time workers. This is in sync with what the owners said at the beginning of project expansion.

The hotel and casino officials have declared that a job fair will be arranged in the first week of June. The positions that need to be filled up include cooks, restaurant staffs, security officers, casino staff and beverage servers, among others. The property is operated and owned by the Seminole Tribe. Now, the Tampa hotel and casino has about 3,500 employees. 

The Construction work at the Tampa property started last year and it is likely to be wrapped up by Oct 2019. Owners have invested over $700 million in renovation and expansion of the property. A grand 15-story hotel tower has come up and it has 564 rooms and suites.

The gaming floor of Hard Rock Tampa will get enhanced as well. Once it is finalized, the casino will feature 200 casino gaming tables and 5,000 slot machines. At the top floor, there will be room for the VIP patrons. Besides, an event center with 30,000-square-foot space will be added. A ballroom with dimension of 17,000-square foot will be there. The guests can chill at a 25,000-square-foot spa. Three new outdoor pools will come up too.

The Seminole Tribe is also enhancing another Florida property- based in Hollywood. That hotel and casino resort has been undergoing a $1.5 billion revamp. It is getting a guitar-shaped 36-story hotel tower, new theater and expanded gaming space. The new 450-foot-tall tower will be launched in August this year. The entire project will be wrapped before the much awaited Super Bowl 2020.
