Online payments solutions provider Paysafe and iGaming supplier Playtech have inked a new cooperative agreement that sees them extend their existing partnership as the payment platform becomes available in the UK and Europe.
Both companies are based in the US where Playtech has offered Paysafe’s solutions to its operator customers for some time now. The expansion into new markets will be beneficial for both parties.
The starting point for this evolution in their partnership appears to be their US integration with BetParx, a Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment-owned online casino and betting operator based in Pennsylvania.
Paysafe has powered the operator’s payment solutions for its iGaming brand, Play Gun Lake, in Michigan since the first quarter of 2021. Following this, the service was extended to the BetParx iGaming and sportsbook app for Pennsylvania and New Jersey at the beginning of 2022.
Paulette Rowe, Paysafe’s CEO of Integrated and Ecommerce Solutions spoke about the partnership.

We’ve seen great success in the roll-out of our collaboration across multiple US state markets and are delighted to be extending this into the UK and Europe via the same, single technology integration," he said.
