Game Symbols

• Ornate amphora treasure chests and an ancient book with a scarab on the cover represent the higher value symbols.
• The low value symbols are in the form of blue, green, orange and red gems.

Bonus Features

Rolling Reels with multiplier trail

Rolling reels is activated by player wins, exploding winning combinations and allowing new symbols to drop onto the reels, continuing in this fashion until no new wins occur.

This feature also kicks off a multiplier trail, increasing the win multiplier to x2 and x3 after the first and second cascade, if you manage a 3rd cascade, the multiplier increases to x4 and the reels set expands to 5×5 size with 50 pay lines gifting a 4x multiplier and a free respin to boot. The win multiplier increases to x5 after the 4th cascade and stays at x10 from the fifth cascade until the end of the round. 

Free Spins

3, 4 or 5 scatters landing on the reels award you 5, 10 or 20 times your stake respectively, while awarding 12 free spins. Once activated, the slot expands to 5x5 reels and gains 15 additional paylines. The Sphinx symbol, which only appears while the free spins feature is active, can only appear on reel 3. Each sphinx symbol that appears awards an extra free spin and upgrades the multiplier trail by 1. If free spins and rolling reels are simultaneously active, the multiplier trail will increase in value.  The player starts with a 2x multiplier at level 0 and increases to 3x, 4x , 8x, 12x and finally 20x on levels 2,3,4 and 5 respectively, setting the stage for massive potential wins.

Win Booster

The win booster is activated by placing an additional wager and adds a scatter symbol to the reels, greatly increasing the chances of activating the free spins feature.

Our Verdict

This title is a sequel, so if you’re familiar with the original slot don’t expect a grand re-invention here. There are however some clever tweaks to Jungle Jim and the lost sphinx offering big wins and more exciting ways to get there.
