New Circa Resort & Casino To Open Up In Downtown Vegas In Late 2020
The 18 Fremont Street Casino project that have been in the talks for a while now, has finally got a name! Businessmen Greg and Derek Stevens revealed the name and other details regarding their dream project earlier this week. The massive property will take the place of the former Las Vegas Club, Girls of Glitter Gulch strip club, and Mermaids Casino. It will be renamed as the Circa Resort and Casino and is set to open its doors to the public in December 2020.
The property will be one of its kind and will be built from the ground up in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. This is touted to be one of the biggest projects since the mid 1970s and is aiming to capture the eyes and hearts of millions of visitors. The Resort will be accessible to the Fremont Street Experience and the owners of the project believe that it will draw a majority of the traffic that the street experience enjoys.
The all-new casino will span over 1.25 million square feet and soar 140 meters high into the Las Vegas Sky. It is said that the 44 story hotel tower will be the tallest structure in the north of the strip. The grand resort will also feature 777 plush hotel rooms and suites. The owners of the future project quoted that their focus will be on the suites as most other hotels do not offer as many suites as needed to meet the growing needs of visitors looking for luxury accommodation.
The center stage on Circa’s gaming floor will be sports betting. The brother duo revealed that the resort will have one of the largest sportsbook in the city with the biggest ever screen that history has seen. In addition to this, the facility will also have a multi-level stadium like décor.
Aside from the magnificent sportsbook, the resort will also have a two level casino with street level entries and one entry via a bridge that will connect the resort to a large nine level parking arena. This parking garage will be yet another important feature of this new resort. It will feature 1201 parking spaces and a number of posh and eclectic restaurants whose names will be announced later. The parking garage will also have the longest outdoor bar in all of Fremont.
That is not all. Visitors can enjoy a multi-tiered pool amphitheatre. This world class complex will feature 6 tiered pools that will make way for great pool events and sports watching parties.
The famed Steelman Partners have been entrusted with the project’s design while Tre builders will be the construction manager. Mc Carthy Building companies will act as the general contractor. The latter two are working hand in hand in building the Las Vegas Stadium that will seat 65,000 people!
Construction of the resort is expected to commence next month and developers are targeting a 2020 launch. The cost hasn’t been disclosed but is speculated to be in the range of $1 billion.
