Puerto Rico’s Governor, Ricardo Rosselló has brought a legislation to legalize live and online gambling. The bill, if passed, will make a lot of offline and online gambling legalized.
Rosselló said the govt wants to improve the lives of Puerto Ricans using new and creative ways. The reconstruction is in full swing after the havoc wrecked by Hurricane Maria. The Supreme Court move last year made possible this bill. It will surely help in boosting the tourism industry in Puerto Rico. He quoted a couple of studies done on potential revenues.
The first study was conducted by of Commerce of Puerto Rico, made by The Innovation Group. The other one was done by the Spectrum Gaming Group.
Puerto Rico underwent debt crisis in 2017 and that was followed by Hurricane Maria which ravaged its infrastructure badly. Now, Puerto Rico needs innovative steps to bounce back.
