Bust the Mansion Online Slot by Microgaming and Pule 8 studios took me inside a fancy manor where priceless treasures were concealed behind the doors of a hidden vault, just waiting for me to claim them. The visuals show a sophisticated interior where the reels nest between pillars, displaying precious artefacts and the door to the treasury that triggered its own special innovation. The game’s bonus features include free spins and wilds.
It was easy to feel at home with familiar bonus features that greatly enhanced my winning opportunities.
As I played, money vault symbols appeared on the reels, displaying a random cash value. When at least six of them landed on the same spin, the Link&Win feature activated and the triggering vault symbols became sticky while I was allocated 3 respins on a grid where all the other positions were emptied.
Any further money vault symbols or any new jackpot symbols that landed also became sticky and reset my respins to their starting count. The feature came to an end when I ran out of respins, whereupon the combined value of the cash symbols was paid out. Any jackpot symbols in view also awarded me corresponding prizes worth 20x, 50x, 200x, or 1,000x my bet for the Mini, Minor, Major, and Mega jackpots, respectively. Achieving the grand jackpot worth 5000x my stake would have also ended the round, and this required that I fill the entire grid with symbols.
The reality of Bust the Mansion slot reflects poorly on its rich premise. Many successful slots nowadays include an innovative element that serves to set them apart from the constant stream of titles being released daily. I had hoped that this game’s unassuming appearance hid such as surprise, and when there was nothing of the sort I was a bit disappointed as it does put forward a potentially exciting concept.
The features were similarly pedestrian although their potential to deliver high value wins is undeniable. What I particularly enjoyed was the enhanced middle reel that simultaneously made landing combos and triggering the Link&Win feature simple feats. The $250 00 top potential per spin isn’t bad, but when attached to a decidedly middling effort, it doesn’t quite match the treasure-filled presentation of this title.
