Huge Year Ahead For Relax Gaming And Big Time Gaming With 12-month Megaclusters Deal
Relax Gaming and Big Time Gaming (BTG) have added a new dimension to their partnership, signing an IP agreement for the studio’s latest Megaclusters mechanic.
Relax is the first provider to snag the intellectual property rights to the mechanic, which adds a twist to the cluster-pay concept and has gained increasing popularity with players since its debut in BTG’s Star Cluster.
Under the deal, the supplier’s in-house studios and Silver Bullet partners will be able to add the Megaclusters innovation to their exclusive titles. This is a significant value-add to Relax’s already comprehensive distribution option.
The partnership between BTG and Relax has steadily gained strength since the two companies first partnered-up 2018. In addition to the IP rights to Megaways, Relax was also one of the first three platform providers to deliver BTG’s content in Europe, launching games like The Final Countdown with prolonged exclusivity.
Simon Hammon, Relax Gaming’s CPO, said, “BTG is a longstanding and trusted partner of Relax Gaming, and it’s fantastic to see our relationship continue to grow with this deal, equipping our slot developers with an exciting new concept to play with. Megaclusters is another great innovation from the makers of Megaways™, and we’re proud to be chosen as the first partner to gain the rights to apply this original mechanic to our own games and offer as an option to our Silver Bullet studios.”
Nik Robinson, Big Time Gaming’s CEO also commented, saying, “Having already exceeded our expectations in terms of popularity with players, Megaclusters™ has the potential to become another successful franchise, and we’re excited to see it develop. Time and again Relax has demonstrated extraordinary speed-to-market and reliability, so we know that Megaclusters™ will be expertly applied in the hands of their talented studios.”
With over a decade in operation under its belt, Relax Gaming is seen by many as the go-to content aggregator and games supplier. The company’s partners have access to a portfolio of over 1000 proprietary and third-party studio games via a rapid and effortless integration.
