LeoVegas Introduces AI-determined Deposit Limits
Swedish iGaming provider and operator, LeoVegas, recently initiated personalized, instant deposit limits for its users in the United Kingdom as part of its push to encourage and facilitate safe and responsible wagering behaviour.
LeoVegas’ British brands, including 21.co.uk, BetUK, LeoVegas.com, and PinkCasino now have added personalized deposit limits that will be allocated to bettors as they make their first deposit. The system will employ third-party data in conjunction with a proprietary risk prediction model to calculate personalized limits for each player. This will be a dynamic limit that adjusts according to the user’s data.
LeoVegas will also be sending out AI-generated messages that attempt to sway players in the direction of responsible gambling behaviour.
“Personalized deposit limits and onsite messages are examples of new initiatives using AI and innovative technology to make gambling safer”, the company explained in an announcement.
The operator also intends to deploy early detection AI tools designed to identify players who appear to be at risk of developing problem gambling behaviour. The official update elaborates that the AI system will perform enhanced analysis of player behaviour, automatically stepping in to stop at-risk customers from making new deposits.
Leovegas’ customer care division will then make contact with the identified individuals to discuss their online gaming behaviour.
Gustaf Hagman, the CEO at Leovegas, laid out the company’s crusade to promote safe gambling. He stated that a safer gambling experience for players would generate healthier and more enduring relationships between the brand and its customers. He added that customer retention will improve if LeoVegas continues to offer the most engaging iGaming experiences while assisting players who may be exhibiting destructive behaviour.
Hagman went on to say that each individual has their own financial profile and spending proclivities and that the AI system would take account of these factors to create appropriate and personalised dynamic limits.
