NetEnt And Scientific Have The Formula For US Market Domination
Scientific Games is one of the US’ most popular gaming service providers and intends to increase its presence in the market, recently announcing a new partnership with the giant global online casino content supplier, NetEnt. The US online gambling market is very highly competitive and rewarding, so this partnership would allow both companies the opportunity to better explore and engage with the market.
The partnership agreement means NetEnt’s content, including titles from reputable games developers and third-party studios and proprietary titles, will be available on Scientific Gaming’s OpenGaming Platform which is already 2,500 games strong.
The deal will also allow NetEnt the opportunity to profit from the increasing demand for premium online gambling options in the US.
Brian Kraft, VP commercial for NetEnt Americas LLC said, “Collaborating with Scientific Games leveraging the power of their OpenGaming platform made strategic sense for us, given the company’s strong reputation and partnerships with multiple US operators. We’re excited about working with Scientific Games in the US and look forward to launching our popular slots with more operators in the coming months.”
The SVP Casino for Scientific Games Digital, Dylan Slaney, advised that the alliance will empower both companies to “make further inroads into the United States online gambling market”. He further stated that customers would have amazing content to look forward to.
The more the merrier
The US gaming market is a huge playing field, both NetEnt and Scientific Games have chosen to form partnerships with several other companies to realise their ambitions for the sector. Scientific Games is looking to boost its catalogue of games hosted on its OpenGaming platform and recent deals with Big Time Gaming, among others, will help greatly in this regard.
NetEnt’s ambitions are being realised through a series of content supply deals across the country. One of the more recent arrangements is a content distribution deal with Wind Creek Hospitality in Pennsylvania, a state that is fully embracing the concept of online gambling. NetEnt also inked partnership deals with BetMGM to penetrate the gaming market in West Virginia.
