Isle of Man-based online casino software company Microgaming has reason to celebrate after their progressive jackpot slots network created seven new millionaires since the beginning of 2020.
From the 1st of January to the 1st of August, the jackpot network has paid out over €115m, with the combined winnings of the seven multi-millionaires accounting for €30m of that amount.
The latest jackpot winner was a UK player who grabbed a €1m prize on the Major Millions progressive slot at Spin Casino. The anonymous player achieved the progressive win with a mere £3 stake.
Microgaming's CEO, John Coleman commented on this spectacular spate of wins, stating, “With total lifetime payouts exceeding €7.2 billion, Microgaming's progressive jackpot network has had an outstanding year to date, driven by a number of new game releases, including Wheel of Wishes, Atlantean Treasures, and Absolootly Mad."
