Wazdan Gets Go-ahead For US Market Entry
Casino games developer Wazdan recently announced that it is ready to begin its expansion into the US, following approval to launch a selection of its games in the freshly regulated New Jersey market.
The transactional exemption granted to Wazdan by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement and Casino Control Commission will see the studio offer some of its best-performing slot titles via licensed operators in the jurisdiction of New Jersey.
Wazdan will initially offer a selection of its hit titles including Larry the Leprechaun, 9 Lions, and Sizzling 777 Deluxe Slot to name a few. This is the latest expansion for the developer that has recently bolstered its presence in several markets.
Andrzej Hyla, the CCO at Wazdan, said, “New Jersey needs no introduction as a market and we’re thrilled to be able to offer some of our most popular games to operators in the state.”
Wazdan’s arrival in New Jersey’s regulated iGaming market is the company’s first foray into the US and its ninth jurisdiction overall with the studio already holding licenses in numerous major global markets including Malta, the UK, Romania, and Sweden.
In late 2020, Wazdan claimed a certification to offer its products in Colombia, expanding its presence in the LatAm region. This development came soon after it received permission to trade in Switzerland.
“With more to come from us in this territory, it’s the first step on a very exciting journey,” Hyla added.
Fans of the developer’s titles were recently pleased to learn that it would be integrating its immensely popular Hold the Jackpot feature into more games, after its successful showing in games like Unicorn Reels Slot, Clover Lady Slot, and Burning Stars 3.
