Stockholm based operator, LeoVegas has signed a partnership deal with German VfL Bochum 1848 of the 2. Bundesliga.
LeoVegas Sport will displace Sportwetten.de as the authorized betting associate of the second division club under this two year deal.
LeoVegas’ country manager for Germany, Hardy Eberle remarked: “We are honored to partner with an eminent club such as VfL Bochum for the forthcoming two seasons. And we hope to enthusiastically support the growth of our union.
LeoVegas’ sports folder which has the names of greats such as Brentford FC and Norwich City FC has been further thickened with this deal.
The operator will have its logo remain on the shorts of the club’s rugby team till the end of the 2019-20 season because of the extension it signed with the Leicester Tigers last year.
VfL Bochum’s sales and marketing director, Christoph Wortmann says: “We expect a fruitful association with LeoVegas Sport in the years to come. We also acknowledge with thanks the support extended last year by sportwetten.de.”
Bochum are still to score a win though they kick started their second Bundesliga campaign on 28 July. They will be hosting SV Wehen Wiesbaden in their next game on 24 August.
