Yggdrasil, an industry leader in gaming solutions has unveiled its latest exciting title, Wildpops, in collaboration with AvatarUX from its YG Masters stable.
The slot that ‘pays both ways’ employs AvatarUX’s PopWins mechanic where symbols forming part of winning combinations ‘pop’ and disappear, leaving room for new symbols to appear. This process can repeat multiple times in a single spin, creating a chain of wins.
Every seventh Pop adds an increasing multiplier value and each win causes the reels holding the symbols to increase by a single column space.
Three wins in a row makes two random wilds appear on the reels, this process will repeat for every subsequent 3 wins.
Once all the reels have expanded to seven columns high, this triggers a bonus round where you are assigned 3 extra lives. The lives give you 3 opportunities to prevent a non-winning screen from ending your multiplier streak, consuming a life each time this happens.
Stuart McCarthy, Head of Partner Strategy and Sourcing at Yggdrasil gave his impressions of the new title “WildPops™ is a fun-filled new addition to the Yggdrasil slot offering and will appeal to a wide demographic of players. Our YG Masters studios continue to push the boundaries of innovation and AvatarUX is no different with its fascinating graphics and thrilling PopWins™ mechanic which has proven very popular with players.”
Marcus Honney, Managing Director at AvatarUX, was excited about the joint project “Our latest PopWins™ game contains all the thrilling excitement of our feature mechanic with a fun theme and massive win potential. Any spin can get the Popping started and give players thrilling experiences. Our partnership with Yggdrasil continues to go from strength to strength and we look forward to it growing for many years.”
AvatarUX is a founding partner studio of the YG Masters programme that enables independent studios to develop and distribute their content on Yggdrasil’s platform. WildPops marks the 3rd title to emerge from this association, following the releases of PopRocks and Lilith’s Inferno.
