When the stacked Excalibur symbol appears on any single reel, it acts as a mystery symbol, transforming into matching instances of a symbol. However, if it appears on the first 3 reels, you will enter Stage Play mode where the legendary blade can increase the size of the game grid up to 5x8 as it appears on the reels.
The Quest Bet feature is an opt-in innovation that increases your wager and activates a hold-and-win feature where if you land at least 6 special shield symbols, generated by Excalibur’s transformation, they will become locked in place while triggering 3 respins.
