YG Masters Studio Gears Up For The Future With Game-changing GATI Technology
Yggdrasil’s YG Masters partnership arrangement with AvatarUX has been reaffirmed after the studio noted some great successes as a result of being a part of the programme. The extension of the deal will see AvatarUX making use of Yggdrasil’s pioneering GATI (Game Adaptation Tools & Interface) technology that is designed to foster swift scalability and growth.
The GATI platform is unique in its standardised, language-agnostic interaction that enables developers to create content efficiently and securely and allows for easy distribution across the supplier’s distribution network.
GATI technology has allowed YG Masters partners to adopt the interface and cross-sell all titles to any YG Franchisee. This has created new avenues of collaboration across the globe and boosts revenue streams for multiple parties. All YG Masters partners can access to GATI and utilise the preconfigured, regulation-optimised, development toolkit for the development and distribution of titles.
AvatarUX has three games to its name since joining the YG Masters programme. Its maiden title was Lilith’s Inferno which was followed by two PopWins titles, PopRocks and WildPops. Two more two titles from this series are scheduled for release in 2020. AvatarUX’s first GATI-powered release will make its debut in late September of 2020.
Stuart McCarthy, Yggdrasil’s Head of Partner Strategy and Sourcing at Yggdrasil had this to say, “Our proprietary GATI technology has seen partners have a smooth route to market across the globe through our Franchisees. Our YG Masters partners will be able to use GATI to further enhance their growth and enjoy the benefits of a unified system which highlights the importance of collaboration in a crowded marketplace.”
Marcus Honney, MD at AvatarUX, also weighed in, saying, “Being part of the YG Masters programme has enabled AvatarUX to successfully distribute our games across a broad network of operators. We envision that GATI will further enhance opportunities for our studio and allow us to continue developing unique, high quality and innovative games. We are excited about all possibilities the technology brings forth and we look forward to continuing to work closely with the Yggdrasil team to achieve our business goals.”
